flickr_images — Flickr image relationships (2012)
- Description
A network of images on the photo-sharing website Flickr, constructed by McAuley and Leskovec to study image classification using social-network metadata. The images are those of four image-classification benchmarks whose images originate from Flickr (PASCAL VOC, ImageCLEF, MIR Flickr and NUS-WIDE), and two images are connected by an undirected edge if they share some metadata on Flickr: if they were taken at the same location, submitted to the same gallery, group or set, share common tags, or were taken by friends, among others. The type of shared metadata is not included (the source provides it separately, together with image features, as large additional files).
The network has the following properties:
