npm_dependencies — npm software dependency network (2016)
- Description
The dependency network of the software packages in npm (https://npmjs.com), the public package registry of the JavaScript runtime Node.js, as collected by T. Slijepčević in early 2016. Each node is a software package, and a directed edge (i, j) indicates that package i depends on package j (i.e. it lists j as a dependency, which is installed together with i). Only packages with at least one dependency relation are included, out of the 226,473 packages listed in the data. The network contains 47 self-loops.
The network has the following properties:
- Nodes:
name, the name of the package in the npm registry.
