amazon_book_similarity — Amazon book similarities (2008)
- Description
A directed network of similarities among books sold by the Amazon store, collected in 2008 and distributed by the Laboratory for Web Algorithmics (LAW). The data were obtained with SimilarityLookup queries to the Amazon E-Commerce Service API, which return, for a given product, a list of products that Amazon considers similar to it. Nodes are books, and a directed edge from one book to another indicates that the second is listed among the books similar to the first. The network has 735,323 books and 5,158,388 edges. Nodes are anonymous (no book identifiers are distributed), and edges are unweighted (no similarity scores are given).
