imdb_actors_2004 — IMDb actor collaborations (2004)
- Description
An undirected network of collaborations among movie actors, based on Internet Movie Database (IMDb) data from 2004. Nodes are actors, and two actors are connected if they appeared together in at least one movie; made-for-TV movies, direct-to-video releases and video game entries were removed. The network is thus a one-mode projection of the actor-movie network, and edges are unweighted (the number of joint movies is not given). The data were preprocessed by H. Jeong and distributed with the textbook "Network Science" by A.-L. Barabási. Nodes are anonymous (labelled consecutively from zero); there are 702,388 node labels and 29,397,908 edges.
