uni_email — Email network (Uni. R-V, Spain, 2003)
- Description
Network of email exchanges among members of the Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona, Spain, compiled by R. Guimerà, L. Danon, A. Díaz-Guilera, F. Giralt and A. Arenas from the logs of the university's email server. Nodes are users, and two users are connected if they exchanged emails in both directions, i.e. each sent at least one email to the other. Emails sent to more than 50 recipients were discarded. Only the largest connected component (1,133 users) is included.
Although the network is undirected in nature, it is stored as a directed network where each connection appears as two edges, one in each direction (5,451 connections). The only property of the network is
name, the anonymous user identifier.
