socnet_coauthors — Social Networks journal coauthorships (2008)
- Description
Coauthorships among the 475 authors of the 295 articles published in the journal Social Networks, from its beginning (1978) to 2008. The data were compiled by C. McCarty for the 2008 INSNA meeting (Sunbelt conference) in St. Pete Beach (Florida), where they were used for a t-shirt design, and were later cleaned by L. C. Freeman. The data were distributed by L. C. Freeman on his network data page at the University of California, Irvine (no longer online), from which this version was obtained via the Internet Archive.
An undirected edge connects two authors who coauthored at least one article.
The network has the following properties:
